  • Do I need to be connected to the internet?

    No. JAST runs entirely on your machine. Xpansions, Macros, Timers, and Notes all work offline. Although an internet connection is needed for license activation.

  • It's offline, why charge monthly?

    JAST runs mostly offline, so your snippets stay fast and private. The subscription funds continued development, compatibility updates, new features, secure app distribution, and ongoing support. The Team feature is the exception. It runs online, and its hosting and server costs recur every month.

  • Do you log what I type?

    NEVER! JAST reads keystrokes only to match your triggers against saved keywords. That buffer is held in memory, stays on your machine, and is cleared the moment a trigger fires, focus changes, or the timeout expires. Nothing is logged, stored beyond the session, or transmitted.   • What are the system requirements?

    Windows 10 or later (64-bit only), or macOS on Apple Silicon. JAST is a lightweight native app with no runtime or framework to install.
